Our Journey
Royal Footwear was the brain child of Mr. A. K. Mohammed Mubarak, started as a small shop selling leather and shoe making materials in around the year 1972 in Coonoor.
Mr. Mohammed Mubarak ( known in his friends circle as AKM and family Circle as Sait) was born in Mangalam, a small village near Tirupur. He had his school education in Coimbatore. He started his career selling leather materials required for binding books in the printing press in various cities of Kerala.
Later he relocated from Coimbatore to Coonoor, a beautiful hilly town in the Nilgiris, where his desire and experience of selling leather materials made him to start a small shop in the Coonoor, with the support of his uncle.
Slowly this nice shop serving the needs of various clobbers of the town, started additionally selling leather made shoes and chappals.
As the business grew, other non leather but all footwear items got added into the shop portfolio. As years went by, one shop become four, three other shops run by his son and son-in laws with his support and guidance.
Now 50 plus years gone, post his life to hereafter, the iconic shop Royal Footwear is run by his nephew, while his son’s are into software and education. A wonderful journey from footwear to software.
Yes the Royal Hub Information Systems (RH Infos) based out of Coimbatore is a brain child of his soft natured youngest son, which focuses into enabling software education in young minds besides developing and supporting ERP systems to ecommerce portals.
At the will of Almighty now rhcart.in is a step in leveraging on the current IT technology and taking the old family business of footwear and other products into the world of ecommerce, from bringing people to products, now it is the turn of taking products to people. Life is a circle but innovatively and beautifully evolving.
So in short rhcart.in is not a startup but an evolution and revolution of 50 plus years of rigorous smart hardwork, experience and knowledge built into. All praise to the Almighty.
